Ikh Mongol is characterized by its combined research and education system covering a wide variety of fields. The university also encourages interdisciplinary research by actively collaborating with other universities, institutes and research organizations. In this way we are producing the leading journalists, writers, and researchers in the country. The university is dedicated to disseminating knowledge not only to Mongolians but also to other nations. We have cooperation with scientific and educational institutions, daily newspapers, and TV/radio stations in Mongolia and other countries. More and more educational services pay particular attention to the needs of foreign students.
Since its foundation in 1992 our university has enrolled over 1300 students, graduating over 1000 specialists in 9 major fields. We are genuinely proud that over 80 percent of our graduates have received job offers or have continued their studies abroad since the institute opened.
At present our university is running its activities with more than 400 graduate and post-graduate students, and more than 40 professors and other staff members. The university is expanding its scientific research and training programs to offer three-levels full time study:Diploma, Baccalaureate, and Master.
